What the service does

JB Price Trend records the prices of JB Hi-Fi products over time and shows you that history, along with figures derived from it such as a Deal Score. It can email you when a price you are watching drops. That is all it does — it does not buy anything on your behalf and it is not a shop.

Not affiliated with JB Hi-Fi

We are independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to JB Hi-Fi in any way. All product names and trade marks belong to their owners. Any purchase you make is between you and the retailer.

Prices are guidance, not a guarantee

Prices and history come from public JB Hi-Fi product pages and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. The price on the retailer’s own site at the moment you check out is the only one that counts. Deal Score, discount depth and any outlook are our own calculations from recorded history — they are opinions about past data, not advice and not a prediction. Always confirm on the retailer’s site before buying.

Your account

• Give an email address you control, and keep your password to yourself.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else has access.
• One account per person. Do not share credentials.
• We may suspend or close an account that is being used to abuse the service or to break these terms.

Free and Premium

The free tier has limits, and they are listed on the homepage: how many products you can track, how many alerts you can run, how far back the history goes, and how often we check. Premium lifts those. We may adjust the limits, and if a change reduces what a paying subscriber gets, we will say so before it takes effect.

Payment and cancellation

• Subscriptions are billed in advance in Australian dollars through Stripe, on the interval you pick.
• Unless you cancel, a subscription renews automatically at the end of each period.
• You can cancel at any time from your dashboard settings. You keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not billed again.
• We do not refund part-used periods, except where the Australian Consumer Law requires it. Nothing here limits rights you have under that law.
• If a price changes we will tell you before it applies to your renewal.

Acceptable use

• Do not resell, redistribute or republish our price data as your own service.
• Do not attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
• Do not use automated means to create accounts or scrape the dashboard.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running but we do not promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. Price checks depend on a third-party website we do not control. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue something a paid subscription depends on, we will give notice and a fair remedy.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for money you did or did not save, a price that changed, an alert that arrived late or not at all, or any indirect loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and material changes affecting subscribers will be sent by email.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
